Deliverability overview
Open Mailboxes, Health to see how your domains and mailboxes are doing. The metrics refresh every 15 minutes, and problems are listed on the page. LeadTrain does not send alerts, so check the page yourself.
Sending account status
Each organization sends through its own Amazon SES sending account. The status you see is Amazon SES's review status for that account: Not restricted, Under review or Stopped. LeadTrain does not lower your sending limits itself.
Bounce rate
Bounce rate is the share of emails that could not be delivered. At 2% the account goes under review, and at 5% it is stopped. Soft bounces are not counted, because Amazon SES retries them. Addresses that hard bounce go on the suppression list.
Complaint rate
Complaint rate is the share of recipients who mark your email as spam. At 0.05% the account goes under review, and at 0.1% it is stopped. Every campaign email carries a one-click List-Unsubscribe header. A visible unsubscribe link appears only where the body or the signature contains the unsubscribe_link variable; the starting signature layouts include it.
Suppression list
LeadTrain does not send to addresses on the suppression list. Bounces, complaints and unsubscribe requests add addresses to it automatically, and you can add more yourself in Settings, Compliance. Every email is checked against the list before it goes out.
CAN-SPAM compliance
Fill in your organization's legal name and postal address, and LeadTrain adds them to the footer of every email, as CAN-SPAM requires. A campaign can launch without them, but the launch checklist warns you, and emails go out without the footer until both are filled in.
Deliverability best practices
Let new mailboxes finish their 30-day warm-up. Keep bounces under 2% by cleaning lists before you import them and sending to verified addresses. Keep complaints low by writing only to people your offer fits, and personalize your emails. Spread your sending across several mailboxes and domains.
