Deliverability

Monitor and maintain your email sending reputation.

Deliverability Overview

The Reputation page monitors your overall email deliverability health across all domains and mailboxes. Good deliverability means more of your emails reach the recipient's inbox instead of the spam folder. LeadTrain tracks key metrics in real time and alerts you to potential issues before they become serious problems.

Enforcement Status

Your account has an enforcement status that reflects your overall sending behavior. Healthy means normal sending with no restrictions. Probation indicates elevated risk with reduced sending limits while you address issues. Shutdown means sending is fully suspended due to critical threshold violations. Enforcement status is determined by your aggregate bounce and complaint rates across all campaigns.

Bounce Rate

Bounce rate measures the percentage of emails that could not be delivered. The warning threshold is 2 percent and the critical threshold is 5 percent. Hard bounces from invalid or nonexistent addresses are more damaging to your reputation than soft bounces from temporary issues like a full inbox. Bounced email addresses are automatically added to the suppression list to prevent repeat attempts.

Complaint Rate

Complaint rate measures the percentage of recipients who report your emails as spam. The warning threshold is 0.05 percent and the critical threshold is 0.1 percent. Even a small number of complaints can significantly harm your sender reputation and trigger enforcement actions. LeadTrain automatically includes an unsubscribe link in all outbound emails to give recipients a safe opt-out path.

Suppression List

The Suppression List prevents sending to known bad or unwanted email addresses. Entries are added automatically when bounces, complaints, or unsubscribe requests are detected. You can also manually add addresses to the list. Every outbound email is checked against the suppression list before dispatch, ensuring you never accidentally contact a suppressed address.

CAN-SPAM Compliance

CAN-SPAM compliance requires a legal organization name and a physical mailing address to be included in your outbound emails. These fields must be filled in and verified in your organization settings before you can activate any campaigns. LeadTrain automatically includes this information in the footer of all outbound emails to keep you in compliance with email marketing regulations.

Deliverability Best Practices

Follow these best practices for high deliverability: warm up new mailboxes gradually over several weeks, keep your bounce rate below 2 percent, maintain a low complaint rate by targeting relevant prospects, clean your prospect lists before importing, use verified email addresses whenever possible, personalize your emails to increase engagement, respect unsubscribe requests immediately, and spread your sending across multiple mailboxes and domains to reduce concentration risk.
