Contacts overview

Contacts is your organization's list of the people you have emailed or plan to email. All campaigns share it, so you import a person once and can add them to any campaign.

Importing contacts

Upload a CSV file: columns such as email, first name, last name, company and title are matched automatically, and the import costs no credits. You can also add contacts by hand or from Lead Finder results. Tags added during an import record the batch's source, industry or purpose.

Contact profiles

Each contact has a page with their name, email, company, job title, location and social links. It also lists the campaigns the contact is in, every email sent to them and every reply they wrote.

Tags

Tags are lowercase labels you put on contacts. Use them to filter the list, mark import batches or group contacts by industry or role. To add contacts to a campaign, you can pick one or more tags, and every contact with them is added at once.

Enrichment

Enrichment fills in missing details from Apollo's data, such as job title, company details, LinkedIn URL, seniority and location. It costs 20 credits a contact and needs a paid plan. It is offered only for contacts that have not been enriched yet.

Bulk actions

Select several contacts to add them to a campaign, add tags, remove a tag, enrich them or archive them. An archive can be undone. Filter the list by status (Active, Enriched, Marked do not contact, Archived, All), enrichment, source and tag, or search it.

Contact statuses

A contact is Active, Archived or marked Do not contact. Active contacts can be added to campaigns. Archived contacts are hidden from the default view and keep their data and history. What stops an email is the suppression list: every email is checked against it before it goes out, and the contact's page shows when an address is suppressed.
