Mailboxes overview
A mailbox is an email address that sends your campaign emails. It belongs to one domain and has a sender name, job title and photo. Each mailbox has its own status, daily limit and health.
Creating a mailbox by hand
Pick an active domain, enter the address (for example, john.doe) and the first and last name, and add a job title if you want. LeadTrain combines the address and the domain into the full email address.
Creating a mailbox with AI
Describe the sender in your own words. AI writes a name, address and job title and makes a profile photo. The credit cost depends on how much the AI uses, and the feature needs a paid plan.
Warm-up
Every new mailbox warms up over 30 days, from 5 to 1,000 emails a day. The mailbox page shows where it is, as Day N of 30. Sending large volumes from a new mailbox can trigger spam filters and hurt your sender reputation.
Daily send limits
Each mailbox has a daily limit, 300 emails by default. A limit of 0 means no limit. The day's count restarts at midnight UTC. To stop a mailbox from sending, pause it.
Sending test emails
Send a test email from any active mailbox before you use it in a campaign. Enter a recipient, a subject and a message. The test shows whether the mailbox delivers, how the email looks in different email clients and whether the signature appears.
Mailbox health
Reputation shows Clean, Fair, Slipping or Critical, with a damage score from 0 to 100 that rises with bounces and complaints. The mailbox also counts emails sent, delivered, opened, clicked, replied and bounced, with charts for the last 30 days. Sending only to verified addresses keeps the damage score low.
