Create an account

Sign up at my.leadtrain.app with your email and a password, or with Google. The confirmation email contains a code: type it in to confirm your address. Without a plan you can already connect a domain, add mailboxes, import contacts from CSV and write sequences. Sending, Lead Finder searches, buying domains, AI features, API keys and inviting teammates need a paid plan.

Setup checklist

Home shows a setup checklist: Connect a mailbox, Start warm-up, Add contacts and Launch your first campaign. Product tours are there if you want a walk-through. To choose a plan, open Settings, Billing & credits, Plans, and pay by card through Stripe. You add the domain and mailboxes yourself, as the next sections describe.

Set up a domain

Add a domain to send from. You can buy one in LeadTrain for 5,000 credits on a paid plan: it is registered for a year and its DNS is set up for you. Or connect a domain you already own by changing its nameservers. Either way, LeadTrain sets up the SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX records.

Create a mailbox

Pick an active domain, then enter the address, the sender's first and last name and, if you like, a job title. With the AI persona option you describe the sender in a few words, and AI writes the name, address and job title and makes a photo. The AI persona needs a paid plan, and its credit cost depends on how much the AI uses. Every new mailbox warms up over 30 days, from 5 to 1,000 emails a day.

Create a campaign

Create a campaign by hand with a name, timezone, send window and sending days. Or describe the campaign in at least 20 characters and let AI draft it: the draft has five to seven steps and costs about 2 credits, depending on what the AI model uses. AI drafts need a paid plan.

Add prospects

Add people to the campaign from a CSV file, one at a time, from your existing contacts or from Lead Finder results. Each person needs an email address. First and last name, company and job title are optional and fill the personalization variables.

Activate the campaign

Assign one or more mailboxes and review the steps. A step with an empty subject or body blocks the launch. Once the campaign is active, emails go out within the send window, up to each mailbox's daily limit and the campaign's daily cap if you set one. Sending needs an active paid plan and credits. You can pause or edit the campaign later.

Follow the results

Watch progress on Home and on the campaign's Results tab, which show open, reply and bounce rates and each contact's status. Replies arrive in the Inbox, where AI gives each one of nine labels, such as Interested, Not interested or Out of office.
