Mailboxes Overview
Mailboxes are the email accounts that send your campaign emails. Each mailbox is tied to a specific domain and has its own sender persona including name, title, and avatar. Mailboxes also track their own warmup status, daily send limit, and health metrics independently.
Creating a Mailbox Manually
Create a mailbox manually by selecting a domain from your verified domains, entering an email prefix (for example, john.doe), and providing a first name, last name, and optional job title. The full email address is formed automatically by combining the prefix with the selected domain. The mailbox is ready to use once created, though it will start in warmup mode.
Creating a Mailbox with AI
Use AI generation to create a complete sender persona for your mailbox. Describe the desired persona by specifying gender, professional role, target market, and personality traits. AI generates a realistic name, email address, job title, professional bio, and profile photo. This feature uses credits and is ideal for creating authentic-looking sender personas at scale.
Mailbox Warmup
New mailboxes go through a warmup period where sending volume gradually increases over two to four weeks. The warmth level, displayed as a score from 0 to 100, shows the mailbox's progress toward full sending capacity. Avoid sending large volumes from cold mailboxes, as this can trigger spam filters and damage your sender reputation.
Daily Send Limits
Set a daily send limit per mailbox, typically between 50 and 100 emails per day for warmed-up accounts. The limit resets at midnight UTC each day. Setting the limit to zero stops all sending from that mailbox without removing it from campaign pools. Start with a low limit for new mailboxes and increase gradually as the warmth level rises.
Sending Test Emails
Send a test email from any active mailbox to verify it is working correctly before using it in campaigns. Enter a recipient address, subject line, and message body. Test emails help you verify deliverability, check how your emails render in different clients, and confirm that your signature appears correctly.
Mailbox Health
Monitor per-mailbox metrics including warmth level, dirty level (health score), and cumulative counts for sent, delivered, opened, clicked, replied, and bounced emails. The analytics tab shows 30-day trends so you can spot issues early. The dirty level increases with bounces and complaints — keep it low by sending to verified email addresses and honoring unsubscribes promptly.
