Templates overview

Templates are saved emails in your organization's library. The whole team shares the library, and any template can be loaded into a step of any campaign.

Creating templates

Give the template a name and a category, then write the subject and body in the rich text editor. The categories are Introduction, Follow-up, Meeting request, Last email and Other.

Template variables

Templates use the same variables as campaign steps, written in double curly braces: first_name, last_name, full_name, company, title, email and country for the contact, sender_first_name, sender_name, sender_title, sender_email and sender_company for the sender, and unsubscribe_link. They are filled in when the email is sent, so one template works for every contact.

Using templates in campaigns

In a campaign step, click Use template to load the template's subject and body. Editing the step afterwards does not change the template.

Managing templates

Duplicate makes a copy of a template with (copy) added to its name. You can edit or delete any template. The library is shared, so the whole team sees changes at once.
